Jazz Fudge label's leftfield offshoot imprint, putting out mostly 7"s. U.K. label known for their generous claim to give away their always interesting records. (releases by Gag, The Fall....and a compilation, featuring 4tRECk) Ex- Geiger Counter members new group (now playing as a trio). On listening to the Real Audio track on their site this new group will be a very exciting live prospect indeed. Chunky rhythm section, fluid guitar, monster rock moments and buckets of creativity. M.C. is an indie site by Dan Chinn, very nicely written. He contributes to the Organ aswell. Hosted by Mark Russell and Robert Sandall every Sunday night (11-12) on Radio 3. Eclectic mix of music, softly spoken and enthusiastic banter before and after each track. Guaranteed to hear something of interest. They played 4tRECk once....nice. Great MP3 site situated in San Diego, home to Pinback, Thingy, B.H.P, etc.. A load of interesting MP3s to download. Also a news service and much more. Avant-prog, free rock and creative music radio show broadcasts on Thursdays at 7.30 pm and only on RCV 99FM around Lille, northern France. Webzine from New Zealand headed by Nick Cain. Indepth interviews and well written reviews .They cover all sorts of great things your never likley to read about elsewhere. Highly impressive and detailed discography. OVERDUB Excellent A5 magazine crammed full of reviews and articles from Greece. It comes with a CD of exclusive tracks for the artists they feature in each issue. Based in Marseille this label houses noise merchants Guapo, Spaceheads, Camp Blackfoot, Flying Luttenbachers a very nice site too. Label and home to Rroselicoer based in Reims, France - AND ME NOW!! JOHN PEEL (RADIO 1) R.I.P. John Peels famous thrice weekly show playing an eclectic mix of all music including 4tRECk twice. Good English label, featuring Volcano the Bear, Bablicon and Daniel Johnston....and 4tRECk soon. French label releasing tapes and CD-Rs of experimental home-craft and live improvised performance. ROBOTS AND ELECTRONIC BRAINS / JIMMY POSSESSION Projet Cyclo is the name for the home recordings of Benoit Chartron who also plays in a group called Rogojine, located in Poitiers, France. Both very nice 'n' noisy. Check the samples on his/their site. Project of Mark Beazley. Once was a bass trio now expanded to a 9-piece band. Dreamy and melodious instrumental music. Real life and on-line shop. You can buy 4tRECk there! Yoshida Tatsuya + Sasaki Hisashi. Ruins play prog-punk operatic noise at a breakneck speed. Their label Magaibutsu is home to Koenji-Hyakkei, Akaten and themselves. From Tokyo. Based in Paris this label puts out predominantly split 7" records from artists such as Cheval De Frise, GordZ, Ulan Bator.... Very useful news service/links etc for underground releases /gigs /interviews /sound clips. Anyone can contribute. One of the best labels ever, with a new and informative site up and running. Bands include DazzlingKillmen, U.S. Maple, Ruins, Yona-Kit, You Fantastic!, Cheer Accident, Zeni-Geva, Arab On Radar.......... they do comics too! Recomended fanzine and news service, keeping a nice little community informed on up-coming gigs, new musical developments and releases. Based in and around London. Excellent Bordeaux based label whoose roster include Ruins, Hoppy Kamiyama, SledeZiveSlede, Hauts De Plafond and the astonishing Cheval De Frise........and much more. They organise events/gigs where you can also obtain their well written 'zine. Issue #3 features a 4tRECk interview. Amercan radio station based in New Jersey run by Brian Turner. I couldn`t recommend this station enough. Catering for wide ranging tastes you can listen to many of their past shows online. 4tRECk played at least 6 times.
